Pricing Calculator
Overview
The goal of the "Price Calculator" is to provide a quick and easy way to mess around with numbers for a potential product, without having to create a new product entry in AMS to do so.

The Price Calculator can be found under the inventory menu item or by clicking here.
Pricing
Pricing is done in three steps and recalculates live as you make changes:
- Cost of Goods sold - Fill out Labor minutes, labor rate, additional costs and material cost (By adding components) to get the Cost of Goods Sold.
- Pricing Rates - Adjust markup or retail rates as needed.
- Pricing and Profit Margins - See suggested retail price (based on COGS and Markup Rate) then set the "Retail Price" to see profit margins based on set price and retail rates.
Note: Currently adding components is just a drop down of active components. In the future this will be updated to be the same as the product add components interface to allow for component filtering.
