Retail Portal
Overview
The goal of the reail portal is to allow retailers, with just a link, to browse an online catalog and submit order requests. AMS leverages existing products to make a clean and professional catalog / portal setup quick and easy.
Catalog Setup
Using the menu bar navigate to "Retail" -> "Retail Portal" to get to the main setup page.
- Catalog PDF: This uploaded pdf can be downloaded from the main online catalog page. Giving retailers a mechanism to download and view a more detailed catalog.
- Catalog Statement: This formatted text area is displayed below the catalog logo.
- Catalog Logo: Displayed at the top of the online catalog. This catalog logo image resizes based on the deminsions of the uploaded image. It is suggested to upload a logo then view the catalog preview, then adjust image size to suit your preferences.
While it is not a part of this page's settings, anonymous wholesale discount rate is based on "My Business" -> "Business Properties" -> "Wholesale Discount" Field. While the retailer specific wholesale and consignment rates are based on the "Rate" field in each business's detail page.
Catalog Products
To add products to the Online Catalog navigate to the "Details" page of a product. Then follow the below steps.
- Ensure product has a quality image. Square aspect ratio 1:1 with a high resolution.
- Ensure Product has a description.
- Ensure under "Adjusted Pricing" section that "Product Retail Price" is set to desired retail price (before wholesale discount).
- Then scroll to the bottom and under "Product Visibility" section set the "List for Retail" to "Yes" and make sure to click "Update".
Anonymous Wholesale Access
The anonymous wholesale access is not automatically related to a retail business in AMS. This means retailers sent this link need to fill in required business information manually.
The anonymous link can be found at the bottom of the "Retail" -> "Retail Portal" page.
Consignment / Wholesale Access
By creating a retail business in AMS, a portal link specific to that business also gets generated. This means retailers using their specific link don't have to fill in business information and the displayed wholesale discount/consignment split rate can be set on a business by business bases.
Retailer specific links can be found at the bottom of a "Retail" -> "Businesses" -> "Details" Page.
